Star Force Revamp


Developer Notes

Star Force has been reworked to provide a smoother and more rewarding equipment enhancement experience. With this update, the maximum Star Force level has been expanded to 30 stars, allowing players to push their gear to even greater heights of power.
To balance this expansion and ensure that reaching comparable strength levels feels faster and more accessible, the success rates for enhancements have been adjusted. In addition, Star Force will now no longer downgrade upon enhancement failure, making the process less punishing and more consistent for all players. Alongside these changes, the enhancement attempt cost has been revised to better reflect the true value of your equipment.
To celebrate this major rework, we’ll also be hosting a special Star Force event, giving everyone the chance to experience the new system at a reduced cost. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to test the power of your upgraded gear!

  • The maximum applicable Star Force Enhancement tier for gear with an equip level cap of level 138 or higher is increased to 30 stars.
  • Items with an existing Star Force Enhancement tier of 23 or more stars before v244 update will have their Star Force Enhancement tier and stats corrected based on the enhancement tier.
    1. 23 Stars -> 25 Stars
    2. 24 Stars -> 26 Stars
    3. 25 Stars -> 27 Stars
  • When enhancing from Star Force 15 Stars and above, failure no longer results in downgrade, and the success/failure probability is changed.
  • Increased the Meso cost for Enhancement at Star Force 17 Stars, 19 Stars, and 21 Stars.
  • The cost of Anti-Destruction is increased from 100% to 200% of the base Meso consumed during Enhancement.
  • Anti-Destruction will now be available on Star Force 17 Stars equipment.
  • Sunday Maple effect for Star Force Enhancements has been updated.
    1. Star Force Enhancements at 21 Stars and below now have 30% less chance to be destroyed.
  • New achievements for Star Force.

Golden Hammer Revamp

  • From v244 onward, Golden Hammer is no longer obtainable via certain content.
  • The upgrade count of all equipment where Golden Hammer can be used has been increased by 1.
  • Golden Hammer possessed in inventory can be used to obtain Spell Trace.




Equipment Revamp

  • The required stats for equipping an item have been removed.
  • The Durability system has been removed except for tools used on gathering/mining.
  • Bow, Crossbow and Ancient Bow no longer knockback enemies with a certain probability.
  • Skill level increase effect has been removed in certain set effect.
  • Certain item explanation has been removed.
  • Similar information has been grouped together and added some categories to improve readability.
  • At the top of the tooltip, scroll enhancement, additional options, Potential, Additional Potential enhancement status is now displayed.
  • If Star Force enhancement is 23 stars and above, effect will be added to the top of the tooltip.
  • For currently equipped items, will now display the equipment is currently equipped instead of combat power increase amount.
  • Will display sum of all additional options levels.
  • Will display detailed info on each additional options.
  • Will display level of each additional options.
  • Will show rank of each Potential and Additional Potential.
  • Soul charge information is no longer displayed in tooltip, moved to dedicated Soul Weapon UI.
  • The currently equipped items in a set will now be displayed at the top of the set item list.
  • Set effect tooltip readability improved.
  • Lucky item effect tooltip readability improved.
  • If the tooltip is cut off by the resolution limit, it will now be continued on the right of the screen.
  • The way certain information is displayed in the equipment tooltip is changed.
  • Equipment tooltip background is changed to a darker color.
  • Equipment tooltip no longer displays the trait EXP gained when equipped once.
  • When displaying the tooltip, press the NPC/Gather key to display an increase in the number of improvements under the scroll information.
  • If the equipment does not use Vicious' hammer, display the grey hammer icon and the text "Vicious' Hammer application 0/1".
  • If Vicious' hammer is used for the equipment, display the purple hammer icon and the text "Apply Vicious' Hammer 1/1".
  • When Silver Wolf type weapon is equipped, the Sengoku 3 equipment set count becomes + 1.




Boss Monster Improvement

Boss Monster Reward Improvement
  • New boss monster reward has been added.
    1. Boss of Life Ring Box can be obtained from Gatekeeper Kalos (Chaos, Extreme), Carling (Hard, Extreme), Limbo (Normal, Hard) and Baldrix (Normal, Hard).
    2. Enhancement Stone of Faith can be obtained from Limbo (Normal, Hard), *Baldrix (Normal, Hard) and *Limbo (Normal, Hard).
      *Enhancement Stone of Faith will be obtainable after 4th September 2025.
  • Item drop rate increase effect now applies.
  • Boss of life ring box is not tradable but the items obtained from Boss of life ring box is tradable between characters.
  • Enhancement Stone of Faith can be traded between characters.
  • White Jade Ring Box can no longer obtained from Gatekeeper Kalos (Chaos, Extreme), Carling (Hard, Extreme), Limbo (Normal, Hard) and Baldrix (Normal, Hard).
  • Refined Ore of Life can no longer obtained from Gatekeeper Kalos (Easy) and Carling (Easy).
  • Emerald/Ruby/Onyx/White Jade Boss Ring Box item name will no longer have the rank.
Boss Monster Attack Pattern Change
  • Lotus 
    1. The cooldown time for Phase 2 upper bombardment patterns is increased.
    2. The cooldown time for Phase 2 electric field installation has been increased.
    3. The duration of Phase 2 electric field installation has been reduced by approximately 25%.
    4. When continuously hit by Phase 2 electric field installation, it has been improved so that it no longer lifts you into the air.
    5. The interval between component generation for Phase 2 component fall has been increased by approximately 15%.
    6. The stun duration of Phase 2 component falls has been reduced by approximately 50%.
    7. The occurrence rate of Phase 3 upper bombardment has been reduced.
    8. The cooldown time for Phase 3 electric field installation has been increased.
    9. The duration of Phase 3 electric field installation has been reduced by approximately 25%.
    10. When hit consecutively by Phase 3 electric field installation, it has been improved so that it no longer lifts the target into the air.
    11. The delay of the front attack of the suppression bunker in Phase 3 has been increased by approximately 40%.
    12. The lower range of the front attack of the suppression bunker in Phase 3 has been reduced by approximately 11%.
    13. The stun duration of indiscriminate bombardment in Phase 3 has been reduced by approximately 50%.
    14. In Extreme difficulty, the number of shots fired by Phase 3 indiscriminate bombing is reduced by 1.
    15. In Extreme difficulty, the number of locations for Phase 3 indiscriminate bombing is reduced by 2.
    16. The Phase 3 gun turret pattern is removed.
    17. The Phase 3 gun turret pattern is removed in Story Mode.
  • Damien 
    1. Phase 1 meteorite fall cooldown time is increased.
    2. Phase 1 meteorite fall duration is reduced.
    3. Phase 2 meteorite fall cooldown time is increased.
    4. The duration of Phase 2 meteorite fall is reduced.
    5. The movement speed of Phase 2 Abyss Crystals is reduced.
    6. Phase 2 Abyss Crystals are improved to lose power.
    7. The maximum number of Phase 2 Abyss Crystals that can be generated is reduced to 2.

  • Guardian Angel Slime 
    1. Slime laser attack range reduced by 35%.
  • Will 
    1. Phase 1 teleport cooldown time increased.
    2. Phase 1: After creating the Moonlight Shield, all party members will immediately cause a spatial collapse if they remain inside the shield for a certain amount of time.
    3. Phase 2: The number of times the giant spider's leg pattern appears in the False Mirror pattern will be reduced from 5 to 3.
  • Heretic Hilla
    1. Bone wave attack duration is reduced.
  • Black Mage 
    1. Phase 3 authority of creation pattern and absorption pattern can no longer happen at the same time.
  • Chosen Serene 
    1. When hit by the light of the judgement pattern in Extreme mode, the increase in sun gauge is reduced by 50%.
    2. The attack range of the stabbing pattern is reduced by approximately 22% compared to the previous version.
    3. Phase 1: Sun's Wrath will no longer occur in overlapping locations.
    4. Phase 2: The maximum angle of self-destruction will no longer decrease as Chosen Serene's HP decreases.
    5. Phase 2: When the time zone changes, the angle of self-destruction will increase in proportion to the number of party members not affected by Sun's Curse.
    6. Phase 2 Sunset Blazing Sword will no longer occur in overlapping locations.
    7. Phase 2: When struck by Nero's Weather, party members will no longer be pushed back but will instead be slowed.
    8. Phase 2: The duration of the stun effect applied when struck by Glorious Sword will be reduced by approximately 50% compared to the previous version.
    9. The effect of Phase 2 Dawn's Glorious Sword has been changed.
    10. The amount of Sun Gauge increased when hit by Phase 2 Dawn's Nero's Manifestation has been reduced by approximately 25% compared to the previous version.
    11. The amount of Sun Gauge increased when hit by Phase 2 Glorious Sword has been reduced by approximately 25% compared to the previous version.
    12. The amount of Sun Gauge increased when hit by Phase 2 Nerota's Power has been reduced by approximately 33% compared to the previous version.
  • Gatekeeper Kalos 
  • Fixed an issue where Phase 2 Watcher's minions appeared awkward when they were unable to move.
  • Reduced the number of times Phase 2 Watcher's Rampage can be activated from 5 to 3.
  • Increased the interval between the appearance of Phase 2 Watcher's Eyes of Confinement and Eyes of the Abyss in Chaos Mode by approximately 13% compared to the previous version.
  • The occurrence interval of the Enhanced Eye of Confinement and Enhanced Eye of the Abyss in Chaos Mode Phase 2 has been increased by approximately 15% compared to the previous version.
  • The occurrence interval of the Eye of Confinement and Eye of the Abyss in Extreme Mode Phase 2 has been increased by approximately 8% compared to the previous version.
  • The occurrence interval of the Enhanced Eye of Confinement and Enhanced Eye of the Abyss in Extreme Mode Phase 2 has been increased by approximately 10% compared to the previous version.
  • Extreme Mode Phase 2: The number of times the Eye of Restraint is fired has been adjusted.
  • Chaos and Extreme Mode Phase 1 and Phase 2: The range of vision restriction when hit by the Eye of the Abyss and Enhanced Eye of the Abyss has been reduced.

    1. Phase 1: The number of attacks from the current discharge is reduced from 10 to 1.
    2. Phase 1: The height of the second-floor platform in Lost Spring is adjusted.
    3. Phase 3: A statue is added that allows you to prioritise attacking the monster when activated in Death Surrounds the Four Seasons.
    4. In Hard Mode, the gauge increase when hit by the Four Gentlemen in Phase 1 is reduced by approximately 22% compared to the previous version.
    5. In Hard Mode, the gauge increase when hit by the Wings of Slaughter in Phase 2 is reduced by approximately 6% compared to the previous version.
    6. Hard Mode Phase 2: The gauge increase when hit by Judgment Thunder has been reduced by approximately 6% compared to the previous version.
    7. Hard Mode Phase 2: The gauge increase when hit by Death's Thorns has been reduced by approximately 6% compared to the previous version.
    8. Hard Mode Phase 3: The gauge increase when hit by Wind Pressure Release has been reduced by approximately 6% compared to the previous version.

    • Fixed an issue where defeating Black Mage in Black Mage (Extreme) Phase 4 sometimes did not result in a clear judgment.
    • The issue where certain monster sound effects persist when applying an action-impaired status effect while Kalos is in a groggy state in Kalos Phase 2 has been fixed.

      1. The issue where Damien occasionally becomes invisible when stuck while binded while swinging the Sword of Destruction in Phase 2 has been fixed.
      2. The issue where the Abyss Crystal sometimes is able to be summoned while the boss is in binded state has been fixed
      3. Lucid (Hard) The issue where the character is occasionally forced to move upon entering Phase 3 has been fixed.

    Crystal with Strong Power
    • Selling price has been adjusted according to boss difficulties.

    Monster Improvement
    • When Damien's (Normal, Hard) mark is complete, if there are already five Swords of Destruction, the Abyss Crystal will not be generated.
    • Carling (Easy, Normal, Hard, Extreme)
      1. Gunggi, Do'oul, Hondon, Carling, Gonggi Enveloped in Death, Do'oul Enveloped in Death, Hondon Enveloped in Death, and Rampaging Carling will now be affected by the Immobilization status effect.
      2. Phase 1 Gonggi's front wing attack, rear wing attack, and halo explosion pattern status effects will now be defended by skills that defend against critical status effects.
      3. Phase 3 Raging Carling's Sura pattern status effects will now be defended by skills that defend against critical status effects.




HEXA Stat III

  • Stat Core III can now be activated.
  • Level 270 and above, Stat Core II level 20 or above character can activate Stat Core III.
  • You need 15 Sol Erda, 350 Sol Erda Fragment to activate Stat Core III.
  • To reset Stat Core III enhancement information, you need 35,000,000 Meso.




Mesos Limit Increase

  • Max Meso that can be owned extended from 499,999,999,999 Meso to 1,999,999,999,999 Meso.




Maple Auction Improvement

  • Basic sale slots changed to 30 slots.
  • Basic buy slots changed to 120 slots.
  • Sale register period can now choose between 24hrs and 48hrs.

Item Improvement and Error Fixes

Item Improvement
  • To prevent guild's blessing item from being used when guild's effect is ready to be applied, characters with guild's greater blessing applied can no longer use guild's blessing.
  • The guild's greater blessing and the guild's blessing icons are provided so that they can be identified.
  • When Ruin Force Shield is equipped by Demon Slayer, will now reduce damage taken by 15%.
  • Can now use Item Tag, Remove Name on items that are not currently being equipped.
  • Merry-Go-Round Music Box Chair as 2 more background BGM added.
  • Skin Care Selection Coupon has 1 more new skin.
  • Kinesis Smart Face name changed.
  • Design of confirmation page for using Mega Burning Booster, Tera Burning Booster, Hyper Burning Booster is improved.
Item Error Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the Dawnstar Party Cape was invisible during certain animations.
  • Fixed an issue where the Challenger's Crossbow would appear in front of the character in certain animations.
  • When using Karma Choice Cube on items currently equipped, fixed an issue where the cursor icon would show Yellow Cube.
  • Fixed an issue where certain animations would be awkward when equipping Hanguel.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes EXP related buff effects would not be maintained when logging out and logging in again.
  • When attempting to equip multiple Boost Ring types, it will now display a pop-up message informing that you can only equip one at a time.
  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to equip pet equipment on certain Galiel, Galiel's Star pet.
  • Fixed an issue where the 'no duplicate equip' message for Ring of Clan was strangely displayed.
  • Fixed an issue where the example character image was not visible when using the Blair Salon Quartz Hair Coupon (M), Blair Salon Pearly Hair Coupon (F) item tooptip.
  • Fixed an issue where you were able to enhance Zero character Shadow, Massive Shadow.
  • Fixed an issue where certain animations of Athletic Skin were being displayed with the wrong color.
  • When a party member opens the Boss of Life Ring Box, fixed an issue where the item notifications would not be displayed.
  • Fixed an issue where the Eternal Bond weapon effect would make certain hair images be displayed strangely.
  • Fixed an issue where the sleeve image would be displayed strangely during certain animations for Kitty Bell.

Destiny Weapon

  • Available from 18th September 2025, 0000hrs.
  • Characters that have Genesis weapon from clearing ‘[Genesis Weapon] Release the Power 2’ quest, that have completed ‘[Shangri-La] Light though the shadow’ quest can proceed with Destiny weapon quest line.
  • Characters that have not completed the ‘[Shangri-La] Light though the shadow’ quest can use the story skip function to watch the story summary without the prerequisite quest, or complete immediately.
  • Battle quest.
    1. Battle quest can be done by clearing the Boss monster solo according to the quest condition and collecting the required Archenemy's Resolve for the battle quest.
    2. Battle quest cannot be done within Cross World Boss.
    3. Archenemy's Resolve can be obtained by clearing Grandis Boss monsters above a certain difficulty.
    4. When Boss is killed, the Archenemy's Resolve is distributed among the players.
    5. Archenemy's Resolve can be accumulated up to a max of 3,000, and for the Archenemy's Resolve that exceeds the requirement for the Battle quest, you can use it for the next Battle Quest.
    6. If you lose the Genesis Weapon while doing the quest, you must start the Genesis Weapon quest back from the beginning.
    7. If you lose the Destiny Weapon after completing the quest, you have to do Genesis Weapon quest again from the beginning, then do the Destiny Weapon quests.
    8. If you complete the '[Destiny Weapon] The Archenemy's Weapon' quest, a world message will be displayed to the entire world.

  • The potential of the original Genesis Weapon is transferred and enhanced to match level 250.    
  • The additional options of the original Genesis Weapon is transferred and enhanced to match level 250.    
  • The original Genesis Weapon soul weapon status is transferred.
  • Destiny Weapon cannot do additional star force enhancements or scroll enhancements.
  • Only 1 Destiny Weapon can be owned per character, and cannot be traded.
