Princess Nou Revamp

Developer Notes

With the revamp of Hieizan Temple, Princess Nou has also been updated. All prerequisite stages have been removed, allowing you to challenge Boss Princess Nou directly without any prior steps.
Her attack patterns have been enhanced, with improvements to existing mechanics and the addition of new ones. She is now a more powerful yet straightforward boss encounter, offering a refreshing and challenging experience.
Due to the increased difficulty, defeating Princess Nou will now reward you with more Mesos, and you’ll also have a chance to obtain the item “Kanna’s Treasure.”
Alongside this update, the difficulty of Akechi Mitsuhide has also been raised. Face off against these formidable Sengoku Era bosses and enjoy greater rewards for your victories.

  • Princess Nou boss entry method has been changed.
    1. After talking to NPC Ayame, you will automatically be moved to 5F Main Hall to challenge Princess Nou.
    2. The previous requirement of clearing monsters and the mini-boss from 1F to 4F has been removed.
  • The difficulty of Princess Nou has been increased.
    1. The entry level requirement has been increased from 140 to 180.
    2. The story quest completion requirement has been removed.
    3. Princess Nou's HP has been increased.
  • The boss reward received from defeating Princess Nou has been revamped.
    1. The selling prices of Princess Nou Glowing Soul and Akechi Mitsuhide Glowing Soul have been increased to 25 million Mesos and 33 million Mesos respectively.
    2. Newly added Kanna's Treasure becomes untradeable upon equip and cannot be equipped at the same time as the original Kanna's Treasure.
    3. Platinum Scissors of Karma can be used on the new Kanna's Treasure.
    4. If an original Kanna's Treasure has been destroyed due to failing a Star Force enhancement, it can be transferred onto the new Kanna's Treasure.
  • The set effect of Kanna's Treasure, Hayato's Treasure, and Ayame's Treasure has been removed.
  • The boss mechanics of Princess Nou have been changed.




Princess Nou Story Quest Revamp

Developer Notes

The Hieizan Temple theme dungeon will be receiving a rework. The overall content level has been adjusted to better match player progression, and several story animations and gameplay mechanics have been updated to enhance the experience.
In addition, to make Sengoku Era boss content more accessible, the dungeon will no longer be a prerequisite for challenging Boss: Princess Nou. The exclusive skill tied to this requirement, which is no longer necessary, will also be removed.

  • The Princess Nou story quest level requirement has been increased from level 140 to level 180.
  • EXP obtained from completing the story quest has been changed.
  • Completing the story quest no longer rewards Kanna's Treasure.
  • After completing the story quest, a new medal (The Star of Hieizan) can be obtained.
  • The entry level requirement of some story quest-related maps has been changed to level 180.
  • The difficulty of herb-related quests have been reduced.
  • Exclusive skills obtained from the story quest have been removed.




Mushroom Shrine Revamp

Developer Notes

The fields surrounding the Mushroom Shrine will be reworked to better align with the area’s theme and narrative. The appearance of nearby monsters will be updated to reflect the story of the Mushroom Shrine more accurately, and the overall field efficiency has been improved to enhance gameplay.
To further improve accessibility to the Sengoku Era boss content, Mushroom Shrine will no longer be a prerequisite for challenging Boss: Princess Nou. As a result, the exclusive skill tied to this requirement, which is no longer necessary, will also be removed.

  • The field around Mushroom Shrine has been improved.
  • Between maps with a large level difference, a map with an intermediary level has been added.
  • Mushroom Shrine's monster drops have been adjusted to match the increased level requirement.
  • Etc Items related to Mushroom Shrine Tales have been added to NPC shops.

6th Job: New Mastery Core

Developer Notes

A new set of mastery cores has been added. Two mastery cores will be introduced simultaneously, allowing you to complete the mastery core setup for your 6th job advancement.
By using the HEXA Matrix, you can now unlock your 3rd and 4th mastery cores and gain access to powerful new skills that further enhance your character's potential.

Union Champion

Developer Notes

Starting July 30th, the Union Champion system will be introduced, offering a new way to elevate your characters to greater heights. This powerful development system allows you to designate a character as a Champion within your world.
As your Champion participates in Champion Trials and climbs the ranks, all Champions will benefit by gaining additional stats. Their progress will contribute to the overall strength of your roster.
Look forward to its Union, where your Champions grow stronger together through the bonds they share!

Requirements
  1. Union Champion will be available on 30th July 2025.
  2. The following requirements must be met to unlock Union Champion.
    • Reached Union Rank of Grand Master Union I or above.
    • At least 1 character at level 260 or above.
    • Completed the quest [Union Champion] Way of the Champion from NPC Ms Appropriation the Dragon Slayer.

Mechanics
  1. Characters at level 260 or above can be registered to a Champion Slot.
    • 2 slots are initially unlocked. When both slots have a character with Champion Rank A, the third slot will be unlocked.
    • A maximum of 3 slots will be unlocked.
    • Only one of each class can be registered to a Champion Slot.
    • Characters registered as Champions cannot perform Free Job Advancement or be deleted.
  2. Successfully completing a Champion Evaluation Match with a registered Champion will advance the Champion Rank of that character.
    • Registered Champions begin at Rank C, and can be advanced to Rank SSS.
    • Champion Evaluation Matches can be accessed through NPC Imperial Knight Sir Hamcelot.
    • After the Match is completed, right click the Champion Slot in the Union Champion UI and select "Rank Up" to apply the new rank.
  3. Stats provided by the Champion Insignia will be enhanced depending on Champion Ranks, and are applied to all Union Champion Characters in the same world.
    • Champion Insignia stats will be applied from Rank B.
    • Union Champion Characters can use Champion's Protection, a powerful but temporary stat buff.
  4. When a Union Champion Character is unregistered from a Champion Slot, a fee of 1 billion Mesos will be incurred. Additionally, any new characters registered to the Champion Slot will have their Champion Rank reset to C.
    • If the third Union Champion slot has already been unlocked, it will not be reset upon unregistering a Union Champion Character.
  5. Union Champion related achievements have been added.

Champion Insignia
  • Champion Insignia's stats will not be applied in boss map until v245.
  • The Champion Insignia’s stats will be applied to all bosses, except for Baldrix, which is scheduled to be released in the v244 update. This restriction will be lifted from the v245 update. (Updated 8th July, 1521hrs)
  • Stats will be applied to Champion Characters in the World according to Champion Rank.
  • Each Champion gets an insignia based on the rank and Champion Insignia is accumulated as the character ranks up.
  • The Champion Insignia obtained by the champions will have the stats added together and applied to all Champion Characters.
  • Insignia stats are as follows:
    1. Rank B: All Stats +20, Max HP/HP +1,000
    2. Rank A: ATT/MATT +10
    3. Rank S: Damage against Boss Monster +5%
    4. Rank SS: Critical Damage +3%
    5. Rank SSS: Ignore DEF +5%




Champion Raid: Dragon Island

Requirements
  1. The following requirement must be met to participate in Champion Raid.
    • At least 2 Level 260+ characters who are registered as Champions.
    • When at least 2 Champions are registered, press the “Champion Battlefield” button in the Union UI while logged in as a Champion Character to participate in the Champion Raid.
  2. Complete [Union Champion] Way of the Champion quest through NPC Ms. Appropriation the Dragon Slayer then register a character as a champion in the Champion tab in the Union UI.
  3. Register at least 2 Champions then press the 'Champion Battlefield' button in the Union UI with your selected champion character to participate in the Champion Raid.

Mechanics - Champion Raid
  1. Click the 'Champion Battlefield' button in the Maple Union UI to participate in Champion Raid and you will be moved to the waiting map 'Wanderer's Hut'.
  2. Talk to NPC Imperial Knight Sir Hamcelot on the left side of the map to open the Champion Raid UI. Click “Start Challenge” to start the Champion Raid.
  3. Upon clicking the button, you will be moved to “Preparation Stage: Path to the Gorge” and can prepare for combat for 5 minutes.
    • When entering the map, all buffs except for time-limited event skills and Champion Double Up Leader are removed.
    • Entering as a party is not allowed. If you are in a party when talking to NPC Imperial Knight Sir Hamcelot, the party will be automatically disbanded.
    • Only the Use tab of the inventory can be accessed, and only the Champion Raid-specific power elixir may be used during Champion Raid.
    • You can talk to NPC Imperial Knight Sir Hamcelot a the right side of the map to enter the Dragon Island battle map.
    • Talk to NPC Imperial Knight Sir Hamcelot on the right side of the map to enter the Dragon Island battle map.
    • When 5 minutes have elapsed while in “Preparation Stage: Path to the Gorge”, you will automatically be moved to the Dragon Island battle map.
  4. Upon entering the Dragon Island, you will begin stage 1 with the selected Champion Character.
  5. Champion Characters can be switched out using the Tab and Number keys.
    • ach champion can be controlled for a maximum of 3 minutes. When 3 minutes is up, that champion can no longer be used.
    • Champions that are not active will automatically charge their “Bond Meter”.
    • When swapping to a champion with a full Bond Meter, they will receive an additional 25% Final Damage.
    • Champion Characters begin with 50% Bond Meter
  6. There are 6 stages in total, each consisting of 10 missions. Missions alternate between defeating normal monsters and boss monsters. Upon finishing a mission, you will gain points
  7. Some monster attacks and stage hazards will inflict a status effect, including “Climate Stacks” on hit. Accumulating 5 “Climate Stacks” will result in a stronger status effect.
    • “Climate Stacks” and other status effects can be cleared by pressing the NPC/Gather Key near fruit-shaped objects placed around the map.
    • The damage over time effect will not reduce the character’s HP to 0 but will not be reset on death.
  8. All 10 missions must be completed before moving onto the next stage.
  9. When the Champion Raid ends, you will be moved to “Dragon Island: Exit Map”.
  10. Talk to NPC Imperial Knight Sir Hamcelot to claim your rewards and move to “Wanderer’s Hut”.
    • 1 coin can be obtained for each point gained.
    • Points gained from Champion Raid are shared among characters in the same World.
    • There are no retry limit but you must score more points that your previous high score to gain champion coins equal to the difference between your new high score and previous high score.
    • If you exit from Dragon Island before claiming your points, no rewards will be given and the stage progress will reset.
  11. Champion Raid progress record is reset on every 1st of the month at 0000hrs.

Mechanics - Champion's Protection
  1. Champion Coins obtained from the Champion Raid can be used to apply the Champion’s Protection buff for 30 minutes.
  2. The Champion’s Protection buff can be found in the Beginner tab of the Skill UI.
    • On double clicking, a UI for customising the buff will appear, and the additional stats you receive from the buff can be customised.
  3. The Champion’s Protection buff effects are as follows. Each individual buff has 5 levels.
    • All Stats/Max HP Increase: +10/+500, +20/+1,000, +30/+1,500, +40/+2,000, +50/+2,500
    • ATT/MATT Increase: +5, +10, +15, +20, +25
    • Damage Against Boss Monster Increase: +2%, +4%, +6%, +8%, +10%
    • Ignore DEF Increase: +2%, +4%, +6%, +8%, +10%
    • Critical Damage Increase: +0.50%, +1.00%, +1.50%, +2.00%, +2.50%
    • Additional EXP Obtained Increase: +5%, +10%, +15%, +20%, +25%
  4. The number of Champion Coins required to activate Champion’s Protection increase with the total strength of Champion’s Protection.
    • The final cost will be the sum of each individual buff added together.
    • The Additional EXP Obtained Increase effect costs 3 times the number of Champion Coins.
  5. The number of Champion Coins required per stat buff per level are as follows:
    • Stat Level 1: 50 Champion coins
    • Stat Level 2: 125 Champion coins
    • Stat Level 3: 200 Champion coins
    • Stat Level 4: 300 Champion coins
    • Stat Level 5: 500 Champion coins
