Abyssal Expedition: El Nath Mountains

Developer Notes

The Abyssal Expedition team has made its return to El Nath. Begin your expedition by enlisting mercenaries to battle through waves of monsters and gain experience as they progress.
As your mercenaries grow stronger, you’ll face increasingly powerful bosses. Overcome these challenges to claim the final reward—The Abyssal Expedition Union Block.

Available to Level 200+, Zero character who has completed Chapter 2 for Story Quest



To start of your expedition, click the Maple Expedition button to bring up the UI.
Double click on any of the mercenaries to add them to your team.



Achieve the playtime daily and receive Expedition Supplies.
As you increase your Command Rank, you will unlock more slots for mercenaries and better Expedition Supplies



Once your mercenaries are set, use the portal at the left side of the map to start your journey!



Depending on the level of the map, you can either enter the left white portal for grinding exp or the orange portal in the map for boss.
As your mercenaries get stronger, you unlock maps with stronger monsters and bosses.



Let the mercenaries do the job for you as they will attack the monsters automatically.
Obtain EXP when monsters has been defeated.
You can only stay on the map for a set duration.
As you get stronger, you unlock more maps and stay on the map longer up to 8 hours daily.

To Position! (Cooldown 60 Seconds)
 ↪ Instantly moves all expedition members to the designated location without overlapping them.
Rally (Cooldown 30 Seconds)
 ↪ Instantly moves all expedition members to your location, and generates a barrier for a set duration.
 ↪ Expedition members who enter the barrier temporarily receive protective effects and can evade Boss monsters' AoE attacks.
Aim (Cooldown 30 Seconds)
 ↪ All expedition members focus their attacks on the monster designated by your character.

Mercenary Note

  ↪ When you talk to NPC Norman, mercenaries matching the current Command rank will appear randomly, and you can choose to recruit one of them.
  ↪ The potential team members are selected randomly based on the members you can recruit with your current command rank.
  ↪ If it becomes the next day and you have not recruited anyone, when you talk to NPC Norman new recruit targets will be randomly selected.
  ↪ You can recruit a max of 10 members (2 each of Warrior, Mage, Bowman, Thief, Pirate according to mercenaries Rank) according to the member's rank.
  ↪ After recruiting 10 members of the same rank, that rank will no longer be displayed as a potential recruit target.

Additional Notice

  ↪ The exploration time duration reset daily at 0000hrs.
  ↪ Character rewards are ONCE per world.

Available to Level 101+, Zero character who has completed Chapter 2 for Story Quest.

Once per Maple ID

Eliminate 1,000 level range monsters (-20/+20 Level) daily to receive Memorial Coins.

If you accept the quest in Challengers World, additional Challengers Coins can be obtained.

Obtain bonus Memorial Coins: 2x the amount on the 5th and 10th Stamp, and 4x the amount on the 15th Stamp.

You can also use 3,000 Maple Points to get a Check-In attendance by clicking USE if you have missed a day.

Broomy's Thrilling Great Cleanup

9th July 2025, (After Maintenance) ~ 12th August 2025, 2359hrs



Available to Level 101+, Zero character who has completed Chapter 2 for Story Quest.

Look for NPC Broomy in the event map or Event List to get the Exciting Cleaning Time event skill.

Eliminate 200 level range monsters (-20/+20 Level) to trigger the skill up to 30 times a day.

Every trigger gives a set amount of EXP depending on your character level.

On the 30th time triggering the skill, 'Old Dolls', 'Gemstones', and 'Ancient Relics' may appear at a set chance, granting EXP Based on the outcome.

Broomy's Thrilling Last Cleanup

13th August 2025, 0000hrs ~ 19th August 2025, 2359hrs



Available to Level 101+, Zero character who has completed Chapter 2 for Story Quest.

Look for NPC Broomy in the event map or Event List to get the Happy Cleaning Time event skill.

Eliminate 250 level range monsters (-20/+20 Level) to trigger the skill up to 30 times a day.

Every trigger gives a set amount of exp depending on your character level.

On the 10th, 20th and 30th time triggering the skill, 'Old Dolls', 'Gemstones', and 'Ancient Relics' may appear at a set chance, granting EXP Based on the outcome.

Champion Burning - Double Up

Available to Level 101+, Zero character who has completed Chapter 2 for Story Quest

❗What is Champion Double Up?
🔹 You can assign up to 3 characters in the selected World and the Challengers World where you created the character.
🔹 You can designate one of them as the leader first.
🔹 You can designate the remaining two as followers.

Double Up Attendance
🔹 Double Up Attendance check-in can only be done by the leader by hunting monsters within the level range.
🔹 Each Champion will receive 2,500 Double Up Coins for each completed attendance. A dedicated Coin Shop is available for each Champion character.
 (7,500 total for each attendance)

Double Up EXP Points Accumulation
🔹 Double Up EXP Points can only be accumulated by the Leader.
🔹 Every time the leader hunts a monster within the level range, the followers' Double Up EXP Points will increase. (Up to 100,000 per week)
🔹 Log in as a follower to spend Double Up EXP Points and EXP.

Exclusive Leader Benefits (Champion Double Up Leader)
🔹 Leader will have a special skill located in the beginner tab to summon both Follower.


🔹 Skill ends after hunting 100,000 level range monsters (-20/+20 Level).
  ↪ EXP Obtained +15%
  ↪ Damage on Normal Monsters +15%



Note
🔹 You can do this in the selected World and the Challengers World where you created the character!
🔹 The designated leader and followers can never be changed to another character.
🔹 You can only change your leader once a week from among your designated followers.
🔹 Once understood, select I understand now. Go Assign a leader..

CHAMPION DOUBLE UP


IMPORTANT GUIDE

Setting World
1. Click Set in the Leader Box.


2. World Confirmation will be shown. Click Yes to proceed.


3. Type the (Current World)/Proceed.


Setting Leader
1. Click Set in the Leader Box.


2. Choose the desired leader character and click SELECT.


3. Click Yes if the desired character selection is final. If not, click No to change.


4. After confirming the character, type (IGN)/Confirm.


Setting Follower
1. Click Set in the Follower Box.


2. Choose the desired Follower character and click SELECT.


3. You will be shown a confirmation if you want the selected character to be set as Follower.


4. After confirming the character, type (IGN)/Proceed.



IMPORTANT NOTE
 ↪ You cannot change the LEADER and FOLLOWERS after assigning them.
 ↪ You cannot set the same character as both LEADER and FOLLOWERS.
 ↪ You can only change the LEADER from either of the selected FOLLOWERS.
 ↪ Hyper Burning Characters CAN be selected.

General Progression

Eliminate level range monsters (-20/+20 Level) with LEADER to gain points for both Follower.

Up to 100,000 monsters per week which resets after Wednesday 11:59p.m.

1 level range monsters (-20/+20 Level) = 1 Point.

Eliminate level range monsters (-20/+20 Level) with FOLLOWER will not gain any points.

Points obtained by both Follower can be converted into EXP points.

EXP Points gained will be based on the character's level.


Double Up Coin

Eliminate 2,000 level range monsters (-20/+20 Level) with LEADER 3 times a week to get up to 7,500 Double Up Coins.

Both Follower will obtain its own separate Double Up Coins along with the LEADER.

Up to 100,000 level range monsters (-20/+20 Level) can be eliminated by the LEADER per week which resets after Wednesday 11:59p.m.

Click the USE button to consume 3,000 Maple Points for DOUBLE UP PASS to catch up with the times you missed.

Both LEADER and the 2 FOLLOWER will obtain its own Double Up Coins from the DOUBLE UP PASS.

[Coin Shop] Follower Double Up Coin Shop

Follower Double Up Coin Shop ends on 30th September 2025, 2359hrs.

Both LEADER and the 2 FOLLOWER has its own purchase limit that does not affect each other.

Item duration, purchase limit, functionality and tradability are as shown in game.
