Dear Maplers,

Once a year, our beautiful nations celebrate the anniversary of their independence and this year, MapleStorySEA shall join the celebrations with a bang! For our nations' 54th Birthday (SG) & 62nd Birthday (MY) respectively, we would like to show our gratitude and thanks for our nation's strength and celebrate the progress we've achieved!

Hug your Merlion dolls and grab the Jalur Gemilang as we celebrate Independence Day! MAPLE STYLE!

Event Duration: 7 August 2019 (After Patch) ~ 10 September 2019, 2359hrs
Requirements: Level 61+ (Zero classes must complete Story Chapter 2)

Event Overview

There are a total of 4 cash items that can be obtained from the 4 *NEW* SGMY events!

These 4 cash items does have a set effect and can only be obtained via the following events:
   ➢ Independence White Lion Helm: SG National Day: Attendance Check
   ➢ Independence Star Earrings: SG National Day: For the Clean National Day
   ➢ Gold Mask: MY National Day: Attendance Check
   ➢ Merdeka Hibiscus Cape: MY National Day: Congratulatory Message

Each cash item also has its own durational stats (30 days)

SG National Day: Attendence Check

Majulah Everyday!

Merly the White Merlion Doll lost his way and he needs to be back for National Day! Help retrace his steps throughout Maple World and discover Singapore, again!

Event Duration: 7 August 2019 (After Patch) ~ 27 August 2019, 2359hrs
Requirements: Level 61+ (Zero classes must complete Story Chapter 2)
How to Start: Accept the [Singapore National Day] Mysterious White Lion Cub Doll quest from the Star Notifier on the left side of the screen or via NPC Cassandra

Event Mechanics

Upon accepting the event quest, receive a Merly Merlion Doll.
   ➢ You can only get one Merlion Doll per world.
   ➢ The Merlion Doll is inter-account transferable.

Talking to the Merlion Doll will give you several hints on a specific place that will jog Merly's memory.
   ➢ Merly's journey will bring him to 21 different maps. Find them all!
   ➢ You can discover one new map daily, until the end of the event.

Talk to Merly when you have discovered the map that he remembers and listen to his story!

Merly will provide you with the hint to the map should you talk to it while at an incorrect map.

You can search for Merly's maps even after the specific day is over.

Merly will remember more areas as the days go by, and Maplers can find as many maps as he can remember!
   ➢ There will be a 10 minutes cooldown between locating the correct maps should you wish to complete multiple maps per day.
   ➢ E.g Kanna found Merly's 1st memories on the 1st day, but could not find the map that Merly was talking about on the 2nd day. She only managed to find the map on the 4th day of the event. After listening to Merly's story regarding the 2nd map, Kanna can proceed with finding the rest of the maps until the 4th day.

Upon locating the specified map, Maplers will receive puzzle pieces and the White Lion Treasure Chest, depending on the number of total maps found.

Collect puzzle pieces and solve them to obtain the Independence White Lion Helm!

Should all puzzle pieces have been collected, only the White Lion Treasure Chest will be rewarded for the remaining days.

Rewards

Opening the White Lion Treasure Chest will give one of the following items at random:
   ➢ Spell Traces x100~x1,000
   ➢ Suspicious Cubes x5~x10
   ➢ Suspicious Additional Cube x1
   ➢ Clean Slate Scroll 10% x1
   ➢ Yellow Cube x1
   ➢ Crimson Resurrection Flame x1
   ➢ Incredible Chaos Scroll of Goodness 60% x1
   ➢ Purple Cube x1
   ➢ Epic Potential Scroll 50% x1
   ➢ Rainbow Resurrection Flame x1

SG National Day: For the Clean National Day!

Clean today for a cleaner tomorrow!

Let's tidy up before National Day~!

Event Duration: 7 August 2019 (After Patch) ~ 27 August 2019, 2359hrs
Requirements: Level 61+ (Zero classes must complete Story Chapter 2)
How to Start: Accept the [SG National Day] For the Clean National Day Event! quest from the Star Notifier on the left side of the screen or via NPC Cassandra

Event Mechanics

After accepting the quest, hunt level range monsters and collect clean up after them! Let's all be responsible for our trash.

After cleaning the streets and keeping them sparkly clean, receive a Merlion Doll and keep it with you!

A new part will be unlocked, which can be accessed by the quest "[SG National Day] Keep Cleaning for the National Day Event!" after completing the 1st part of the quest

For the 2nd part of the event, simply hold onto the Merlion Doll for 15 minutes

Receive a random USE potion and 1 Golden Sun Shard after the Merlion Doll has transformed!

Collect 50 Golden Sun Shards and trade them for the Independence Star Earring!

There is no daily participation limit and this quest is repeatable. Clean up after yourselves!

Rewards

Upon opening the Merlion Doll, obtain the following at random:
   ➢ Elixir
   ➢ Power Elixir
   ➢ Watermelon
   ➢ Ice Cream Pop
   ➢ Red Bean Sundae
   ➢ All Cure Potion
   ➢ Laksa

MY National Day: Attendance Check Event

For everyday is one step closer to success

Event Duration: 21 August 2019, 1000hrs ~ 10 September 2019, 2359hrs
Requirements: Level 61+ (Zero classes must complete Story Chapter 2)
How to Start: Accept the [SGMY] Join MY Attendance Check! quest from the Star Notifier on the left side of the screen or via NPC Cassandra

Event Mechanics

Obtain different rewards every week, across 3 weeks of the event!

Keep checking in and get an MY Attendance Box!
   ➢ This event can be done once per day per character
   ➢ The Attendance Box will disappear from the inventory upon logging out

Hold onto the box for 30 minutes and then talk to NPC Cassandra to get a different MY Mystery Box depending on the week of completion!

Opening the MY Mystery Boxes will reward a certain number of Sweet EXP Candy & a random Cash Equipment.

For every 2 boxes exchanged, receive a Piece of Sun Sculpture.

Collect 6 Pieces of Sun Sculpture to receive a special title Glowy Me and the Gold Mask.

Rewards

Every MY Mystery Box will include a certain number of Sweet EXP Candy & a random 30 day Cash Colored Equipment depending on the box

Sweet EXP Candy will give EXP scaled to character level
   ➢ Cannot be used by characters below level 61
   ➢ Only lasts for 1 day
   ➢ Inter-account tradable

   ➢ Only lasts for 1 day

   ➢ Only lasts for 1 day
   ➢ Inter-account Tradable

MY National Day: Congratulatory Message

Ayy~ Congratulations~ Let's Celebrate!

Event Duration: 21 August 2019, 1000hrs ~ 10 September 2019, 2359hrs
Requirements: Level 61+ (Zero classes must complete Story Chapter 2)
How to Start: Accept the [Congratulations] Congratulatory Message Event! quest from the Star Notifier on the left side of the screen or via NPC Cassandra

Event Mechanics

This event can be completed once per day per character.

There are two parts to this event:
   ➢ Part 1: Gather event items from Level Range Monsters
   ➢ Part 2: Set up and set off fireworks!

Collect Piece of Firecrackers & Hibiscus Flowers from level range monsters to prepare for the festivities!

Cassandra will provide the Colorful Fireworks, which can be used in either Henesys, Leafre or Nameless Village.
   ➢ The Colorful Fireworks will give provide a weather effect and will not have a customizable message.
   ➢ An additional buff effect of 2x EXP for 30 minutes will be applied to all Maplers in the same map!

After setting off the fireworks, receive Happy Fireworks & a Celebration Gift Box as thanks!
   ➢ Opening the Celebration Gift Box will randomly reward one of the following items listed below.

Maplers may also talk to NPC Mysterious Traveler to obtain rewards based on how many times they have completed the event.

Note: The Damage Skin - Tiger cannot be extracted by a Damage Skin Extraction Coupon nor can it be saved into the Damage Skin slots in the Character Info.
