Maple Film Festival Event Highlights (v174)

Remember those classic films that you watch at least once a year or just awesome movies that you can’t help but re-watch again and again? This year, MapleSEA brings the movie to you with exciting rewards and the chance to pass the popcorn with your fellow Maplers.

FILMS IN MAPLE?

That’s right! Enjoy a huge variety of events that parody of famous films that you may recognize~ We bring a variety of different events to the Maple Cinema and you get to be the main-star! Take this opportunity to be a Taxi Driver, a Detective or maybe be the one to rule them all!

Maple Film Festival Passport

Duration: 27 February 2018, 0000hrs ~ 28 March 2018, 0000hrs
Requirements: Level 33+ (Zero Classes must complete Story Chapter 2)
How to participate: Click on the Star Icon > Film Festival Passport logo (after accepting the intro quest)

Track your records with the Maple Film Festival Passport. Collect stamps and gain extra stats with your MFF Title!

MFF_Passport

Meet the mission requirements and you’ll be given a stamp. For each stamp, you’ll gradually increase the bonus stats that come with your MFF Tourist title. Although, you’ll only be allowed 1 stamp for each mission per day so daily attendance is key!

Missions:
• Monster Taxi Driver: Accumulate a total of 10 Million points
• Detective Kemdi: Participate 3 times
• Dun-Krrash: Hunt 500 Mobs in the map
• Abominable Me(-nions): Hunt 100 Abominable Me(-nions)
• Beary Good, Beary Bad, Beary Weird: Collect a total of 10,000 Film Points per day

Collect ‘em all and you’ll be able to get the MFF Maniac title and gain bonus stats that come along with it!

The King of Rings Coin Shop

Duration: 27 February 2018, 0000hrs ~ 4 April 2018, 0000hrs
How to participate: Talk to Orchid NPC in Towns near the Maple Film Festival billboards!

One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, One ring to brin… Well you get the idea.

Get your limited edition Maple Film Festival merch at The King of Rings Coin Shop! Collect Popcorn Coins from the events and purchase a variety of different items.

The film festival also includes an event achievement. Collect all the rings and become the King of Rings and show it off with a special chair!

Monster Taxi Driver

Ever wondered how the Taxi in Henesys brings you to towns around Victoria Island? Now you get the chance to compete with up to 6 other players and become a Taxi driver for the monsters in and around Maple World.

Of course driving monsters all day would get boring.. So, we’ve included some ‘special’ missions that you can do to collect ‘dem sweet sweet points that can be exchange to upgrade your taxi or just to exchange for mesos or Popcorn coins. However, do take note that these ‘special’ missions are only valid for 1 attempt per world.. So choose, and do them wisely.

Detective Kemdi

Duration: 27 February 2018, 0000hrs ~ 28th March 2018, 0000hrs
Requirements: Level 33+ (Zero Classes must complete Story Chapter 2)
How to participate: Accept the introduction quest: [MFF] Detective Kemdi > Click on the invitation that comes every xx:15 & xx:45 from 1015hrs ~ 2345hrs
Max Entry: 3 times per character per day

The strong one doesn’t win. The one that wins is strong.

Slip into the shoes of a detective and see if you are able to crack the safe! Guess the 3 digit combination and crack the safe to get Popcorn coins to spend in the Coin Shop! Be wary as you will be competing with up to 100 players for those Sweet & Salty Popcorn coins! Keep an eye out of important details and listen to Detective Kemdi’s instructions as it may very well lead you to victory or defeat.

1st Place: 20 Popcorn Coins
2nd ~ 5th Place: 15 Popcorn Coins
6th ~ 10th Place: 10 Popcorn Coins
11th ~ 20th Place: 5 Popcorn Coins
21st ~ 30th Place: 3 Popcorn Coins
Participation reward: 1 Popcorn Coin

Dun-Krrash

Duration: 27 February 2018, 0000hrs ~ 14 March 2018, 0000hrs
How to participate: Click on Cassandra > [MFF] Dun-Krrash
Level Requirement: Level 100 +

Cassandra has gone down! It’s time to rescue here by defeating monsters and collecting EXP! With this event, you can summon monsters with Popcorn Coins and train to your heart's content without asking others to CC or join up to 10 other Maplers, each hunting your own monsters.

Event Mechanics for Dun-Krrash
- In the hunting map, talk to Cassandra and summon monsters with Popcorn Coins! You can summon 500 monsters with 10 Popcorn Coins.
- Summoned monsters will remain without time limit, disconnections or leaving the map for a short break will not affect the monsters spawned.
- Monsters in Dun-Krrash will award 120% EXP.
- Amount of monsters that can be summoned per day depends on the character level:
● Level 100 ~ 119: Up to 500 monsters
● Level 120 ~ 139: Up to 1,000 monsters
● Level 140 ~ 159: Up to 1,500 monsters
● Level 160 ~ 179: Up to 2,000 monsters
● Level 180 ~ 199: Up to 2,500 monsters
● Level 200 and above: Up to 3,000 monsters

Abominable Me(-nions)

Duration: 27 February 2018, 0000hrs ~ 14th March 2018, 0000hrs

Ba-ba-ba.. Ba-ba-nana~

It’s time to go hunting! On every 3rd/6th/9th and so forth Elite Monster, you will be given a bonus stage where you can hunt these little monsters in jumpsuits for extra EXP. It’s that simple!

However, do take note that Elite Monsters that spawn via Runes or Elite Bosses don’t count so kindly take note of this.

Beary Good, Beary Bad, Beary Weird

Duration: 14 March 2018, 0000hrs ~ 28 March 2018, 0000hrs
How to participate: Click on the Star Icon > Accept the Event quest

Event Mechanics

● A Film Point gauge will be available on the bottom right of the screen.
●

● You can obtain 1 Film Wheel for every 100 Film Point collected.
● Film Wheels can be obtained by:
○ Staying in major towns: Generates 3 Film Points every 10 seconds.
○ Picking up event item dropped by Level Range Monsters: Film Piece (10 film points)
● Maximum amount of Film Points that can be obtained daily is 10,000.

Rewards

● Upon using Film Wheels, Popcorn Coin and EXP will be awarded.
● Film Wheels are item is tradeable
