[Update] Legends: Demon Slayer Patch Notes

Dear Maplers,

The following events will be activated on 4th July 2012 to celebrate the launch of the Demon Slayer Class

1. [System Event] Demon Slayer Welcome Party (Event Date: 04/07/12 – 17/07/12)

To celebrate the arrival of the Demon Slayer class, all Demon Slayers that reaches Level 30 by 17th July 2012, 0900hrs (+8 GMT) will be entitled to a FREE PERMANENT Legends Balloon Cash Item.

To receive the free permanent balloon, player must log in to their character that they wish to receive the permanent Legends Balloon Cape.

Click on the OK button to receive your permanent Legends Balloon Cape.

• Do note that the Legends Balloon will be credited into the 1st character that enter the Cash Shop. If the character that you used to enter into the Cash Shop possessed a unique Cash Shop Wardrobe, you won’t be able to transfer the Legends Balloon onto another character within the same Maple ID.

• Update: The Demon Slayers Legends Balloon will be credited to all eligible players during the Server Check on 25th July 2012.

2. [System Event] Pendant of the Spirit Daily Giveaway (Event Date: 04/07/12 – 15/07/12)

Aiming to be the first Demon Slayer to be level 200? With the Pendant of the Spirit you can! And what’s more its free everyday when you login!

The effect of the pendant activates when you put it on! The longer you have it equipped without logging out, the more exp you will gain!

To receive the pendant, simply click on the Maple Administrator to accept the quest.

3. [System Event] Command Emblems (Event Date: 04/07/12 – 07/08/12)

Monsters with the emblems of the ex-commanders of the Black Mage have been spotted! Gaga needs strong and tough adventurers to defeat and collect the emblems from the monsters. Do you think you are one of those adventurers?

After collecting 50 of the emblems and submitting it to Gaga, you will be rewarded with a Legends Awards Coin and some experience!

4. [System Event] Legendary Black Dragon(Event Date: 04/07/12 – 07/08/12)

The Legendary Black Dragon, a friend of the Demon Slayer was injured in battle and lost its wings. Without its wings, the Legendary Black Dragon is no longer able to use its mystical powers. The Dragon is looking for kind Maplers who are willing to help him find his wings and of course he would reward them handsomely!

Defeat this monster to collect the wings!

After collecting 50 of the wings, talk to Cassandra to receive and gift box from the dragon together with some experience!

You will be able to obtain the following items from the box:
-Accessory Stat 60% Scroll
-Armor Stat 60% Scroll
-Equipment Enhancement Scroll
-Potential Scroll
-Trait Use Items
-Reindeer Milk
-Sunrise Dew
-Legends Awards Coin
-Legendary Black Dragon Ring

-Legendary Black Dragon Chaos Scroll 60% (Note: This scroll grants potential to an Legendary Black Dragon Ring at 100% chance, it does not change the stats of the ring like a normal Chaos Scroll)

Update
-Please be informed that the Legendary Black Dragon Scroll passes at a 60% rate and not at 100% rate. Upon failure, the ring will be destroyed. The ring will be given potential stats once the scroll succeeds.

5. [System Event] Can You Resist (Event Date: 04/07/12 – 07/08/12)

Think you got good self-control? Cassandra has a test for you!

Accept the challenge and Cassandra will give you a Golden Statue

After remaining online for 30 minutes, give the statue to Cassandra to receive your reward of a Legends Awards Coin and experience

6. [System Event] Protect the Fireworks Festival (Event Date: 04/07/12 – 07/08/12)

Oh no! The fireworks Gaga was going to use for the fireworks show have been drenched by the rain! He needs your help to dry the fireworks

If you choose to help him, Gaga will give you a Wet Fireworks.

After remaining online for 30 minutes, the Wet Fireworks will turn dry up and become a Nice Dry Fireworks

Reture the Nice Dry Fireworks to Gaga and he will reward you with a Legends Awards Coin and experience as a token of appreciation for helping him

7. [System Event] Legends of Happiness! (Event Date: 04/07/12 – 07/08/12)

Reach level 50 or level 70 on one of the Legends classes (Cannon Shooter, Mercedes, Demon Slayer) and be rewarded with a Tania Cloak (Cash Decorative Item, Cape, Charm +30) at level 50 and a Mercury Cloak (Cash Decorative Item, Cape, Charm +30) at level 70!
