Solution for HackShield update problems

Dear Maplers,

It has come to our attention that there are some players still experiencing HackShield update problems since v1.06.3 minor patch.

Some of you may be disconnecting after logging into the game. This is because you haven’t updated HackShield to its latest version.

Except for the below 14 files, delete everything in your HackShield folder. Then re-execute MapleStory.exe for hackshield update again.
We advise Maplers to save a copy of HackShield Folder separately to prevent any unitentionally loss of files while trying out this solution.

Please be aware the updating might takes up to 15 to 30 minutes.

• V3Hunt.dll

Should this process fail to fix the problem, please try reinstalling the full client.
