[Update]Dress Like a Mapler!

[Update on 26th January 2015, 1430hrs (GMT+8)]

Dear Maplers,

First of all, we would like to thank you for all the submissions that has been sent to us for the ‘Dress Like a Mapler’ event. However, we noticed that most of the submissions received were mainly focused on dressing up their in-game character avatars instead of themselves.

We apologize if our web news has been a little confusing with regards to the event mechanics, thus we would like to take this opportunity to to re-emphasize that ALL participants must dress themselves up and not their in-game character avatars.

Due to the above mentioned, we will be extending the submission deadline for the event to 1st February 2015, 2359hrs (GMT+8). For participants that did not submit their entries correctly, you are advised to re-submit a qualifying entry before the mentioned date. Whereas for those who have already submitted in the correct format, rest assured that your entry has not been voided.

The extension of this event is valid for all participants. Hurry and submit your entries before 1st February 2015, 2359hrs (GMT+8), and stand a chance to win the permanent cash shop version of the decoratives that you have dressed up with!

Dear Maplers,

Over the years, we have seen plenty of Maplers decorating their in-game avatars. Many a time, we are impressed by the unique and creative combination of equipment, weapon and effects that players make use of to dress their characters.

However, here’s a thought that runs through our minds. Would our players be brave enough to take one step further, and dress just like their in-game avatars?

Let’s see what you have! Open your wardrobes and unveil those makeup kits, you might just be rewarded if you dress up like an in-game MapleStory character!

Event Date:

• Submission: 13th January 2015 until 25th January 2015 1st February 2015, 2359Hrs (GMT+8)
• Voting: 27th January 2015 until 2nd February 3rd until 8th February 2015, 1159Hrs (GMT+8)

Event Mechanics:

1. All submission image must fulfill following requirement:
     • Dimension: 800*800 px
     • Size: Below 10 MB
     • Type: .PNG or .JPG
2. All entries must be submitted together with the following details:
     • List out all the names of decorative item(s) that you dress up with.
     • Character IGN
     • World
3. All submission must send to (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) with the title of “Dress like a Mapler!“

*Please be informed that this email address is only for event purpose and will not entertain any inquiry such as bug report, game play and etc.

Example of Submission:

• Equip: Fugitive
• IGN: Venshi
• World: Aquila

*Please note that the above image submitted by Venshi is for illustration purposes only and serve as a sample for submission. Players are prohibited to edit or use any 3rd party software to edit the submitted image. Images submitted must be in their original raw format and players who edit or add in special effect to their images will have their entries voided.

Rewards:

Most Popular	All decorative items listed will be credited to the winner’s choice of character. Items rewarded will all be in permanent duration. However, take note that this is applied to Cash Shop decorative items only.	Get the highest number of votes from the community at our MapleSEA Official Facebook page.
Creative Runner-up	I Am A Star (90 Days)	10 winners will be selected by a panel of judges from the Maple Team and Administrators.

Terms & Conditions:

1. Participants may dress up in any kind of Cash Shop Decorative Equipment, Weapons, and Effect irregardless of whether or not the Cash Item is currently available in the Cash Shop. In other words, players may use items that were released in the past for this event. For reference purposes, players can refer to all the past Cash Shop Update news for item details.
2. Photoshop editing of any image submit are prohibited. Player are to submit their entry as how it look like in the original photo. The above mentioned image submitted by Venshi is served as a reference only.
3. Closing date for submission is on 25th January 1st February 2015, 2359Hrs (GMT+8). Any submission after the closing date will not be counted and considered void.
4. Players are advised not to use any materials that will infringe any copyright. Offenders will be disqualified from participating in this event.
5. Asiasoft Online Pte Ltd and Nexon Korea Corporation reserves the rights to make any changes to the above mentioned without any prior notice.
