Guild Castle Fixes and Improvements



Developer Notes

The Guild Castle, a shared space for guild members, has been improved for greater convenience and content variety.

Weekly missions are no longer required to begin Personal Research. After defeating 5,000 monsters and re-entering the Guild Castle, missions will be automatically completed, allowing Maplers to claim rewards immediately. Personal Research levels have also been expanded with enhanced rewards.

Defeating powerful bosses such as Hard Lucid, Black Mage, and Kalos will grant new Guild Castle decoration blueprints. Additional updates include new Dining Room BGM, Party Room cake decorations, Pool luxury floating chairs, and new Greenhouse plants.


Important Changes
  • The required threshold for Individual Research has been decreased.
  • When initiating Individual Research, the requirement to clear the Weekly Mission for the current week has been removed.
  • Upon defeating 5,000 monsters for the Weekly Mission, re-entering the Guild Castle will now automatically complete the mission without requiring manual confirmation via the UI button.
  • Upon completing the Weekly Mission, the reward can now be claimed immediately.
  • Claimable rewards are determined by the Guild Castle's current Energy level.
  • When attempting to close the game with an unclaimed Guild Castle Weekly Mission reward, a notification will now appear on the logout confirmation screen.
  • While a build is in progress, attempting to delete the Blueprint will now display a confirmation message window.
Guild Castle Room Changes
  1. Dining room - New piano BGM related research added.
  2. Party room - New cake decoration added.
  3. Swimming pool - New tube mount added.
  4. Greenhouse - New Plant Pot has been added, which can be watered by players.
Weekly Mission Area/Experience Related Research Changes
  • Existing level 230–260 areas integrated and adjusted to allow entry from level 200 (Arcane Force areas integrated).
  • Characters at Levels 200–229, who previously did not benefit from Regional EXP bonuses, will now receive them, resulting in a significant increase in EXP acquisition rate.
  • Regional EXP has been changed from a fixed value per region to a dynamic system that scales based on character level.
  • For characters exceeding the maximum level of a region, EXP will be granted based on that region's maximum level instead.
  • The prerequisites for the related Research have been simplified.
  • Players who have previously deleted completed Research will be compensated with Instant Personal Research Completion attempts equivalent to their Research level.
  • 4 new Research types that increase total EXP have been added, unlockable upon completing all Research within their respective regions.
  • New Regions and Related Research Added
  • A new deepest area targeting characters at Levels 290–299 has been added.
  • Yields over 40% more EXP compared to existing areas when all Research has been completed.
Individual Research Changes
  • Weekly Reward: Additional Item
      ↪Karma Black Rebirth Flame added to the weekly reward list.
      ↪Black Circulator added to weekly reward list.
      ↪Karma Choice Cube Exchange Ticket added to the weekly reward list.
  • New research level added for Weekly Reward: Basic Quantity Enhancement 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7.
  • Research adjustments to increase the Basic Quantity reward have been applied.
  • New research level added for Weekly Reward: Maximum Acquisition Quantity Enhancement 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7.
  • Research adjustments to increase the maximum random Acquisition Quantity have been applied.

Kanna Main and Secondary Weapon Revamp



Main Weapon
  • Fan has been changed from Two-Handed Weapon to One-Handed Weapon.
  • Appearance of all Fan has been modified.
  • Specifications and stats for all Fan remained unchanged.
  • All existing Fans located in Equipment, Inventory, Storage Keeper and Auction House will be swapped accordingly to latest it's design.
  • Some lower level Fan may be changed from Untradeable to Tradeable and level requirement may have been increase slightly.


Secondary Weapon
  • New Kanna Secondary Weapon: Talisman.
  • Look for the quest Can be converted into a new [Kanna] secondary weapon. above character head to convert the Fan in to the new New Kanna Secondary Weapon: Talisman.
    • Conversion Period: Until 2nd June 2026.
    • Eligibility: 1 Conversion per Kanna character Level 200 and above.
    • Retained Stats: Scroll enhancements, Potential, Additional Potential.
    • Star Force Enhancements converts to the same enhancement level; the stats added by enhancement vary depending on the item's base stats.
    • Additional stats and Soul Weapons cannot be retained.
    • Upon converting the equipment, Talisman received will be Untradeable.
    • The conversion is irreversible.
  • List of Fan that can be converted into the new Secondary Weapon, Talisman.
  • *The selected equipment will be converted into a secondary weapon within a similar level range, with some of its stats retained.
    *Equipment obtained through special routes may not appear in the convertible list even if it has the same name as appearance as on that does.
    • Princess Nou's Floral Fan
    • Fafnir Yin-Yang Fan
    • Absolabs Yin-Yang Fan

  • With this new secondary weapon introduced, Kanna can no longer equip Fan in the secondary weapon equipment slot.
  • All Fan that was equipped in the secondary weapon slot is now in the EQUIP tab. If the EQUIP tab is full, the secondary weapon slot will be disabled.




Ranmaru Pre-quest Story Revamp

Developer Notes

The battle narrative against Ranmaru, the fallen genius Onmyoji and loyal retainer of Oda Nobunaga, has been newly reworked.

Through this updated story, Ranmaru and his former master Haruaki reveal his past and the reasons behind his fall into forbidden power. This deeper portrayal aims to enhance immersion in the broader storyline, including the Akatsuki’s narrative.

With this story revamp, we hope Mori Ranmaru will stand as a more compelling and multidimensional adversary in your journey, Maplers

Mori Ranmaru, who plots a scheme for revenge in El Nath after his defeat on the night of the decisive battle at Honnoji.

The Maple Alliance and the Akatsuki locate Mori Ranmaru and execute a plan to eliminate him.

To break Ranmaru's spell, the three of them, You, Yukimura, and Haruaki, set off to El Nath to stop him.

  • Start Quest: [Mori Ranmaru] Emergency Operation.
  • Required Level: 120 and above.
  • Once the quest has been completed, all other character in the same MapleID will have an option to skip the story quest when starting the Start Quest.



  • General Fixes and Modifications


    Drop Rate modifications
    • An issue where the item drop rate increase effect was applied at a higher rate than the displayed value has been fixed.
    • A permanent 24% item drop rate effect has been added.
        ↪This effect is not affected by the maximum item drop rate cap or the item drop rate application ratio applied to certain items.
    • The description of the item drop rate stat in the character information UI has been updated.
    • The issue where the Premium Service Coupon drop rate increase effect was applied to all rewards based on the player who landed the final blow, rather than the player who dealt the most damage, in boss content has been fixed.

    Potential modifications
    • An issue where the probability of the effects of the potential options below being triggered was higher than the stated probability has been fixed.
        ↪Ignores damage with a certain probability when hit.
        ↪Ignores a certain percentage of damage with a certain probability when hit.
        ↪Recovers HP with a certain probability when attacking (when equipped on a weapon, secondary weapon or emblem).
        ↪Recovers MP with a certain probability when attacking (when equipped on a weapon, secondary weapon or emblem).
        ↪Applies a poison effect with a certain probability when attacking.
        ↪Stuns the target with a certain probability when attacking.
        ↪Applies a Slow effect with a certain probability when attacking.
        ↪Applies a Darkness effect with a certain probability when attacking.
        ↪Applies a Freeze effect with a certain probability when attacking.
        ↪Applies a Seal effect with a certain probability when attacking.
        ↪Feels rage for 10 seconds with a 10% probability when hit.
        ↪When hit, there is a 10% chance to feel happiness for 10 seconds.
        ↪When hit, there is a 10% chance to fall in love for 10 seconds.
        ↪When hit, there is a 10% chance to feel rage for 10 seconds.
        ↪When hit, there is a 10% chance to feel moved for 10 seconds.
    • An issue where the activation rate of the potential options listed below was lower than the stated probability has been fixed.
        ↪Reflects a certain percentage of damage taken with a certain probability.
    • A bug affecting the ‘Recover HP/MP with a certain probability when attacking’ option has been fixed.
        ↪An issue where only the most recent option would activate when multiple options of this type were equipped has been fixed.
        ↪An issue where the option would trigger twice when equipped on a weapon has been fixed.
      ※ As before, if multiple options with the same activation probability are held, the recovery effects will be combined and applied when the probability check is passed. If options with different activation probabilities are held, each option will perform a probability check independently, and the recovery effects will also be applied independently.
    • The behaviour and mechanism of the ‘Invincible for a certain duration upon being hit with a certain probability’ option have been corrected.
        ↪The issue where only the most recent option would take effect when multiple options of the same type were equipped has been fixed.
        ↪When multiple options with the same activation probability are equipped, the probability check will now be performed using the combined probability of all options. However, the duration of the invincibility effect applied upon passing the probability check will not be cumulative.
    • As before, if you possess options with different activation probabilities, each option will undergo a probability check independently, and the invincibility effect will also be applied independently.
    • An error where the same option would appear as before when resetting Potential Abilities or Additional Potential Abilities has been fixed.

    Critical Hit chance modifications
    • The issue where the critical hit rate behaves as 99.99999% when it should be 100% has been fixed.
    • The issue where the critical hit rate is applied at a higher rate than indicated has been fixed.

    Other Fixes and Modifications
    • Rewards when eliminating Princess Nou and Akechi Mitsuhide in a party is now distributed accordingly.
    • Fixed an issue where two skill areas were created by projectiles from monsters in the Blood Moon Forest.
    • Fixed an issue where Arrow Platter skill damage was intermittently not applied in the Blood Moon Forest.
    • Fixed an issue where the Lucky Item effect is received when wearing the Scarlet Ring after wearing Giant Fear.
    • With the revamp of the Friends UI, menus related to My Home and Guild Castle have been added.
    • Fixed an issue where the boss debuff icon is intermittently not visible when transitioning in Limbo Phase 1.
    • Fixed an issue where categories were not displayed in Totem and Jewel tooltips.
    • Fixed an issue causing lag when hit by the poison pattern in Will's Phase 3.
    • Fixed an issue where special skill window and gauge UI elements intermittently disappeared in the Epic Dungeon: Nightmare Paradise.
    • Fixed an issue where Angelic Buster's Lucky Items might not be applied correctly.
    • Fixed an issue where Party Distribution Mode was not applied during Princess Nou boss fight.
    • Fixed an issue where the weather function particles would not reset when changing the My Home building template.
    • Fixed an issue where the Mo Xuan's Secret Art: Extreme Shadow stack cooldown gauge was not visible.
    • Search function in World Archive is now non-case sensitive.
    • Fixed an issue where options with identical effects could be set regardless of their order when choosing Potential.
