OVERDRIVE Accelerating Skill Activation




Event Period:
14th October 2026 (After Maintenance) ~ 10th November 2026, 2359SGT

Available to Level 260+ characters, or Zero characters who have completed Chapter 2 of the Story Quest.


• Click the SKILL ACTIVATE button while in a map with monsters within your level range (20 levels below and 20 levels above) to summon waves of OVERDRIVE monsters that grant a large amount of EXP for 300 seconds.
• While defeating OVERDRIVE monsters, there is a chance for Cassandra's Crystal Ball to drop. Picking it up will activate a skill that attacks nearby monsters for a short duration. Picking up additional Cassandra's Crystal Balls will increase the skill's attack range.
• OVERDRIVE Accelerating Skill can only be activated once per Maple ID per day.

Special Notes:
• Once OVERDRIVE Accelerating Skill has been activated, it will count as the day's usage. Logging out, changing characters, or leaving the map during the activation will end your current session, and you will not be able to activate the skill again for the day.
• EXP multipliers do not apply to EXP obtained from OVERDRIVE monsters.
• VIP Booster and HEXA Booster cannot be used while OVERDRIVE Accelerating Skill is active.
• Change Burning: Lucid cannot be used while OVERDRIVE Accelerating Skill is active.
• The Accelerating Count displays the total number of OVERDRIVE monsters defeated.
• If Cassandra's Crystal Ball skill is still active when OVERDRIVE Accelerating Skill ends, Cassandra's Crystal Ball skill will also end.
• Cassandra's Crystal Ball skill will not be activated if a Crystal Ball is picked up after OVERDRIVE Accelerating Skill has ended.

Overview

• Halloween-themed decorations will be applied to the following areas during the event: Henesys, Nameless Town, Cernium Square, and City of Researchers.
• To participate in the event, select [Halloween] Yeti's Night from the event list and click [Participate].
• After starting [Halloween] Yeti's Night, you can enter the Monster Yeti Hunters Temporary Post by clicking the [Participate] button from the event list.
• You can participate in Yeti's Night through Quick Start or party play by speaking to NPC Scadur at the Monster Yeti Hunters Temporary Post.
• If matching is not completed within 30 seconds after selecting a role, you may be matched with a different role.
• Quick Start can only be used while you are not in a party. You will be matched with 4 other Maplers who have also selected Quick Start.
• When entering as a party, the party leader will always be assigned the Hunter role.
• Party play is available for parties of 2 to 5 Maplers.
• Hunting Points and Victory Counts cannot be accumulated during party play.
• The Monster Yeti Hunters Temporary Post is a Cross World waiting room where Maplers can form parties regardless of World.

Yeti's Night Gameplay

• Yeti's Night is a survival game where the roles of the Hunter and Monster Yetis change between day and night.
• 5 Maplers will be matched through Cross World, with 1 Mapler assigned as the Hunter and the remaining 4 as Monster Yetis.
• Use the WASD keys to move, SPACE to jump, and the mouse and keyboard to use skills.
• Each game is divided into day and night phases, beginning with the day phase.
• Night Energy starts at 0. Once it reaches 300, the night phase will begin.
• The Hunter cannot use skills during the night phase.
• During the night phase, Monster Yetis will transform into Giant Yetis and gain a different set of skills.
• Night Energy increases when a Monster Yeti avoids the Hunter's Shot skill and decreases when the Hunter successfully hunts a Monster Yeti.
• During the day, the Hunter can win by hunting all Monster Yetis disguised as Dark Junior Yetis. During the night, the Hunter can win by reaching the hideout within the time limit.
• The Monster Yetis can win by surviving until night and hunting the Hunter, or by preventing the Hunter from reaching the hideout within the time limit.
• When night begins, the Hunter's hideout will appear at the location farthest from the Hunter. Reach the hideout within the time limit to win.

Dark Junior Yeti

• As a Monster Yeti, survive through the day and either hunt the Hunter at night or prevent the Hunter from reaching the hideout within the time limit to win.
• Use the Head Scratch and Hide Legs skills to disguise yourself as a Dark Junior Yeti.
• Head Scratch: Mimics the movements of a Dark Junior Yeti.
• Head Scratch can only be used while your legs are hidden.
• Hide Legs: Conceals the Monster Yeti's legs. While your legs are hidden, Movement Speed and jump strength will be reduced. Use the skill again to change your leg status. Your legs will be revealed when Hunger reaches 0.
• Hide Legs can only be used when Hunger is 1 or higher.
• Available skills will change depending on whether your legs are hidden or revealed.
• Hunger: Starts at 100 and gradually decreases. When Hunger reaches 0, the Reveal Legs and Hide Legs skills cannot be used.
• Eat Food: Use this skill near food to consume it and recover Hunger.
• Using Eat Food will temporarily reveal your location to the Hunter.
• Dash: Leap forward a certain distance.
• Dash can only be used while your legs are revealed.

Giant Yeti

• When night begins, Monster Yetis will transform into Giant Yetis and gain a different set of skills.
• Clawing: Slash forward with massive claws to attack the Hunter.
• Chase: Temporarily increases Movement Speed and Jump.
• As a Giant Yeti, hunt the Hunter or prevent the Hunter from reaching the hideout within the time limit to win.

Hunter

• As the Hunter, hunt all Monster Yetis disguised as Dark Junior Yetis during the day, or reach the hideout within the time limit at night to win.
• Use the mouse cursor to aim and left-click to attack the targeted location.
• Surveillance Camera: Install a surveillance camera that detects and briefly reveals the location of Monster Yetis with their legs revealed when they enter its detection range.
• Up to 5 Surveillance Cameras can be installed per game. Once installed, they cannot be picked up again.
• Installed Surveillance Cameras are only active during the day.

Rewards

• Win a game to earn 500 Hunting Points and 1 Victory Count. If you lose, you will still earn 250 Hunting Points.
• If you remain inactive for a certain period during the game, or leave a game for the first time, a matchmaking penalty will be applied for a set period.
• You can accumulate up to 1,000 Hunting Points per day and 3,000 Hunting Points per week.
• The weekly Hunting Point limit resets every Thursday at 0000SGT.
• Various rewards can be obtained based on your cumulative Hunting Points and total number of victories.
• Event progress is shared among all characters within the same Maple ID.

Additional Notes:

• The Monster Yetiroid Exchange Ticket includes a Lidium Heart.
• Items obtained from the Hallocat Hat Selection Box, Magic School Purple Uniform Selection Box, and Mystic Rose Costume Selection Box are permanent and cannot be traded.
• The Lidium Heart obtained from the Monster Yetiroid Coupon is permanent and cannot be traded.
• The Monster Yetiroid is permanent and can only be transferred between characters within the same World and Maple ID.
• The mount obtained from the Giant Yeti Mount Coupon is permanent and can only be used by the character that obtained it.
• Each reward can only be obtained once per Maple ID.
• All rewards can only be obtained during the event period.
• Rewards can be claimed from the Yeti's Night Rewards menu by selecting [Halloween] Yeti's Night from the event list during the event period.

Additional Notes:

• The [My Home] Fall, Pumpkins and Halloween! quest can only be completed once per World per Maple ID.
• Characters cannot be changed while the tutorial scenario is in progress.
• Quest progress can be reset using Quest Progress Reset from the My Home UI settings, allowing you to continue the quest with another character.
