Developer Notes

One day, countless octopuses appeared in the Carcion region! The residents of Carcion and the crew of the Nautilus have decided to host the Octo Festa festival with them. Take part in the daily festival preparations to earn a variety of rewards and benefits. You can also feed the Golden Octopus, which holds hidden treasures. As it grows, it will grant generous rewards depending on its growth level. Don’t worry about it escaping—the Golden Octopus won’t run away until Level 7!

Available to Level 101+, Zero character who has completed Chapter 2 for Story Quest and participated in [Unfamiliar Tides] To Carcion
Look for the quest in event list.

  • Log in and click Daily Festival Preparation to mark attendance.
  • Every marked attendance give EXP Coupon(30 mins)[x3], Chubby Octopus [x8] and Chewy Octopus [x8].
  • Chubby Octopus [x8] and Chewy Octopus [x8] are used in Special Octopus Buffet.
  • After marking your attendance, choose either Items or Coral Coins as your reward.
  • Coral Coins can be spent in the Coral Coin Store.

  • Weekly Festival Preparation
      ↪ Eliminate 2,000 level range monsters (-20/+20 Level) and click Weekly Festival Preparation up to 3 times a week.
      ↪ Receive 2,000 Coral Coins for every 2,000 monster eliminated.
      ↪ Reset every Wednesday 2359hrs.

  • Intensive Sweep Operation
      ↪ Eliminate 10,000 level range monsters (-20/+20) and click Complete button get rewards with total of 5 stages.
      ↪ Basic Sweep can be done once per week per MapleID and up to 7 times in event period.
      ↪ Spent 14,900 Maple Points to do additional sweeps in the week starting back from stage 1.
      ↪ After completing the additional Intensive Sweep Operation, can spend 29,800 Maple Points to activate additional sweep that complete immediately until stage 5 and get rewards.

  • Every day, completing the Daily Festival Preparation will give 8 Chubby Octopus and 8 Chewy Octopus.
  • The cost to upgrade each buff increases as the buff level increases:
      ↪ Unlock Level 1 Costs: 1 Chubby/Chewy Octopus.
      ↪ Level 2 Costs: 3 Chubby/Chewy Octopus.
      ↪ Level 3 Costs: 8 Chubby/Chewy Octopus.
      ↪ Level 4 Costs: 13 Chubby/Chewy Octopus.
      ↪ Level 5 Costs: 20 Chubby/Chewy Octopus.
      ↪ Level 6 Costs: 25 Chubby/Chewy Octopus.
  • 1 additional Chubby Octopus or Chewy Octopus can be purchased for 1,000 Maple Points.
  • When the event begins, up to 10 additional Chubby Octopus or Chewy Octopus may be purchased.
  • The purchase limit will increase by 10 every Wednesday at 2359hrs.
  • The stats provided by the buffs with last until the end of the event on 11th November 2025, 2359hrs.


    Raise Golden Octopus

    Available to Level 101+, Zero character who has completed Chapter 2 for Story Quest.
    Event Requirements: Participated in Carcion Octo Festa attendance event

  • Look for NPC Calico in event map or event list.
  • Get the Egg of the Golden Octopus that have 3 types, giving Advanced EXP Coupon, Sol Erda or Sol Erda Fragment.
  • Claimable once per Maple ID,claim count reset every Wednesday 2359hrs
  • Unused Golden Octopus will not be carry forward to the next week.
  • Grow the Golden Octopus by killing 1000 level range monsters and subsequent 300 level range monsters.

    Feed popup UI appears indicating that you can feed the Octopus.

    You can hold NPC/Gather key to fill up the gauge, to feed your Golden Octopus.

    If you miss it, do not worry as the feed bar will still be found on Golden Octopus UI.

  • Visit important villages (Henesys, Nameless Village, or Cernium Square) after completed all attendance.
  • Appearance will change to octopus when entering these important villages.
  • Find NPC Cassandra to progress the event.

    After completing the mission, the curse will be broken and you will receive rewards.

    Dimensional Tower Ranking


    1st October 2025, 1000hrs ~ 7th October 2025, 2359hrs

    Available to characters that are within the top 100 ranking for the v244 Dimensional Tower Event who reached the top of the tower.

    These are the rewards for characters that are top 100 in the Ranking Leaderboard.

  • You can go to event list and click on Dimensional Tower Ranking Rewards.
  • Ranking Rewards can only be claimed once per Maple ID.
  • Ranking Reward is used as furniture coupon, you will get a wall furniture in My Home.
  • Higher ranking will get all the rewards for the lower ranks as well.
  • Ranking goes from:-
     ↪ Top 1 - Diamond
     ↪ Top 2~10 - Gold
     ↪ Top 11~100 - Silver
  • Rewards given all have a validity of 7 days, item is inter-account only
  • You must complete the My Home tutorial quest to be able to claim the rewards.

  • Look for NPC Leona in the event map or Event List.
  • Use the VIP Sauna Pass obtained from Carcion Octo Festa or use 3,000 Maple Points to charge 30 minutes of AFK time inside the VIP Sauna Room.
  • AFK inside the VIP Sauna Room gain tons of EXP every 5 seconds.
  • Characters level 289 and above will receive the same amount of EXP.
  • Unlock Premium VIP Sauna with just 9,900 Maple Points.
  • Complete each amount of set time to receive reward
  • VIP Sauna time is calculated based of time used of VIP Sauna ticket
