    HOW VOTING WORKS

    All videos must be uploaded to YouTube. Each thumbs up on the YouTube video counts as one vote. Each vote on the video listed on the Facebook app also counts as one vote.

Terms and conditions

Overview

  • This contest will run from 10th February 2017 to 5th March 2017.
  • Please note that video submissions will only be accepted until 2359hrs (GMT+8) 21st February 2017.
  • There will be a viewer voting period from 22nd February 2017 until 2359hrs (GMT+8) 5th March 2017.
  • After the end of the voting round for the top 4 videos, there will be a final Facebook Live vote for the final Grand Winner on 9th March 2017 1159hrs until 2359 hrs (GMT+8) - winner takes home 120,000 A-Cash!
  • Any entry that miss the submission deadline as stipulated above will be considered null and void, regardless of the number of responses obtained.

Event Mechanics

  • All video submissions must contain MapleStory images, and relate to the theme of “MapleStory Valentine’s Day”.
  • Entries containing obscene, provocative, objectionable, defamatory, inappropriate content shall be disqualified.
  • All videos are to be uploaded to YouTube.
  • All uploaded submissions are to have a short write-up and description of the video.
  • Participant’s IGN and World must be included in the after-credits portion of the video.

Rules & Regulations

  • Participants may submit more than one entry, however each participant can only win once.
  • Participants are required to give credit where due, for any music, song, or images used in their videos.
  • Asiasoft Online and Nexon Corporation will not be liable for legal responsibilities where usage of copyrighted material is used.
  • If a winning video is accused of plagiarism, the participant shall forfeit the prize and at the same time the participant shall bear any legal responsibility for the plagiarism. This rule shall also apply to all other non-winning entries who are found guilty of plagiarism.
  • In the event of a tie during the Grand Prize final round, the winning entry shall be chosen by Asiasoft Online and Nexon Corporation, based on Content, Creativity and Appeal.
  • Asiasoft Online and Nexon Corporation reserve the right to make any changes to any of the above without any prior notice.
  • All decisions by Asiasoft Online and Nexon Corporation are final & binding.
