Every pet level starts at 1 when a purchase is made. The level increases after reaching a certain level of closeness with its owner.
The pet's highest level is 30. The level of closeness can increase and decrease in various ways. The chart below depicts the change of closeness per results after an act. Some results do not guarantee a change in level of closeness. For example, the pet follow a given command successfully. It doesn't automatically mean a raise in level of closeness. Level of closest is achieved by certain set of successful rate. The ones that are labeled (Always Changed) in the below chart means if it meets the results, it'll definitely change the level of closeness. As a sign of reference, when the pet's fullness reaches 0 because it isn't well-fed, the closeness will be lowered by 1 and the pet goes straight into the item inventory. The fullness decreases only when the pet is outside of the pet tab. The rate of decrement is different for each pet. |

When you first purchase a pet, it is without a name. The pet will respond much better to your commands with the name called along with the orders. In order to do so, you will need to name your pet and use "Naming the Pet" item. Pet equipment items can be upgraded to add speed and jumping ability. These upgraded attributes will be applied to the owner of the pet.

| When the water of life runs out, the pet turns back into a doll. To bring your pet back to life, you need to visit Mar the Fairy at Ellinia. You will need to get the water of life and the life scroll to complete the quest in order to bring the pet back to life. |

The water of life can be purchased at the Cash Shop. Mar will ask you to look for Bartos the instructor at Henesys to get the scroll. Take a walk around Pet Road at Henesys to find him. Once you mention Mar the Fairy, he'll give you a couple of tests to pass for the life scroll. Instructor Bartos will give you 5 questions regarding the pets. If all questions are answered correctly, you'll obtain the scroll; otherwise, you'll have to start over from scratch. You can retry the test over and over again. Once you have obtain the life scroll and the life water, bring them back to Mar the Fairy at Henesys, and the pet will be brought back to life. |
